Welcome to the Eastern Shore Child Care Resource Center
Welcome to the Eastern Shore Child Care Resource Center (ESCCRC) at Salisbury University. We are a state-funded agency dedicated to supporting child care providers, early childhood educators, families, and community partners across Maryland’s Eastern Shore, serving Somerset, Worcester, Wicomico, Caroline, Dorchester, Talbot, Kent, and Queen Anne’s counties.
As a member of the Maryland Child Care Resource Network, funded by the Maryland State Department of Education through Maryland Family Network and Salisbury University, ESCCRC is committed to strengthening and advancing the early childhood profession. Our mission is to elevate the early childhood profession through cohesive professional learning opportunities, advocate for the highest quality learning environments for young children, and support the unique needs of all families.
We support child care providers and early childhood professionals working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children by offering training, resources, coaching, and technical assistance. We also serve families across the Eastern Shore, regardless of income, by connecting them with resources, referrals, and support to meet their child care needs.
Through professional development, family resource navigation, a lending library, and referral services, we promote strong learning environments and meaningful support for those who care for young children. We invite you to explore our programs and services and to connect with our staff as we work together to support children and families across the Eastern Shore
